Tinder Snowflake’s arena in Frost Bottom, How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day Headhunter pack.

The Mercenary Day Loot Train provides a group of different item drops after Tinder Snowflake. Use it as an equipment refresh: check the haul, keep pieces that fill a real gap, and sell or discard the rest. This is a mixed reward source, not a dedicated farm for one named item.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Own the Mercenary Day Headhunter pack and unlock the boss arena.
  • Bring enough equipment to defeat Tinder Snowflake.
  • Make inventory space to compare multiple items.
  1. Travel from Marcus’s Mercenary Shop to Frost Bottom.
  2. Ring the arena bell and defeat Tinder Snowflake.
  3. Open the Loot Train chests and inspect every weapon, shield, and other item.
  4. Compare damage, stats, level, and build fit against your equipped gear.
  5. Keep clear upgrades and any useful alternatives for different situations.
  6. Sell or discard items that do not help, then save-quit if you want another train haul.

Farming tips

  • Judge an item by how it works with your character, not just its rarity or color.
  • Keep a little inventory room before starting so you can collect and compare the full reward.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable once the encounter is unlocked: defeat the boss, open the train, sort gear, and save-quit to reset.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming a chest route targets a specific item; use a dedicated source for a named weapon or shield.
  • Keeping every drop until the backpack fills; evaluate and clear surplus between runs.
  • Selling before comparing; inspect gear first and preserve possible upgrades.

When to stop or switch

Stop after the train provides a loadout upgrade or when repeated hauls no longer beat your current equipment.
