Legendary gear targets
Farm the Unkempt Harold from Savage Lee
A focused pistol farm for characters seeking one of Borderlands 2’s dedicated Legendary weapon drops.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Farm the Unkempt Harold from Savage Lee
Three Horns – Divide, near the Fast Travel station and around Marrowfield.
Before you go
- Reach Three Horns – Divide.
- Bring equipment suited to the bandits and creatures around the two search areas.
- Leave inventory room for a pistol drop.
Farming steps
- Travel to Three Horns – Divide and check the area near the Fast Travel station for Savage Lee.
- Fight Lee if he is present and inspect his drops for the Unkempt Harold.
- Continue to the Marrowfield area and check for Lee there as well.
- Defeat him if he appears and inspect the loot again.
- Collect a Harold if it drops, then compare its level and stats to your current pistol.
- If you still need another roll, save and quit, continue, and check both locations again.
- Search both known locations on each map visit before resetting; Lee may appear at either location.
- Keep a Harold only if its level and performance suit your current character and build.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable map farm: check the two locations, fight Savage Lee if present, then save-quit to reset. Neither Lee at both spots nor the Harold drop is guaranteed.
Common mistakes
- Treating the second location as a guaranteed second boss; it is only another possible spawn point.
- Checking just one spot and resetting immediately; search both before leaving the map.
- Expecting the Harold from every kill; repeat while you still need a suitable roll.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have a Harold that fills your pistol slot well, or when your character has outleveled the weapon.
