WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Slaughter Shaft in Konrad’s Hold on Pandora.
After the campaign, Slaughter Shaft provides a sustained sequence of enemies that can award XP and drops while you work through its rounds. The route is a full arena clear, with a Round Five Titan encounter at the end; a separate reset path can focus future attempts on that round. There is no fixed XP rate, so choose the difficulty based on reliable completion.
Unlock Konrad’s Hold and the Slaughter Shaft Circle of Slaughter.
Finish the main campaign to access Guardian Rank progression.
Bring a build that can clear multiple enemy waves at a manageable difficulty.
Travel to Slaughter Shaft and activate the Circle of Slaughter.
Choose a Mayhem setting you can sustain through several rounds.
Fight through the waves, collecting useful drops and gaining combat XP.
Reach Round Five and defeat Titan for the finale’s drops and reported Eridium reward.
Collect the loot, then either restart the full Circle or use the Round Five reset route if you preserved one enemy before Titan.
Spend time on the activity while its XP and gear are still useful to your character progression.
Farming tips
Treat XP as a benefit of completing the encounter, not as a guaranteed rate; clear speed depends on your build and difficulty.
Use full rounds for general progression and drops, and the Round Five method when focusing on Titan.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable through the Circle of Slaughter. The final-round shortcut requires leaving one enemy alive before Titan’s defeat and fast traveling back without leaving the map.
Common mistakes
Expecting a stated XP-per-hour yield: the route’s value depends on your character and clear speed.
Using a difficulty that prevents finishing rounds: lower Mayhem to keep XP and loot coming from completed encounters.
Assuming Guardian Rank is available before the story ends: finish the campaign first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when Guardian Rank progress or arena loot is no longer your priority, or switch to another activity that better matches your build’s needs.
