WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Story Pack 9 field; use Lathel’s Search and Celia’s Absorption while exploring.
Lathel’s Search reveals collectible field finds, and Celia’s Absorption helps gather them. Chapter 9 is the daily field target for wood materials. These field finds are a limited collection rather than a Rice-funded repeat farm, so gather them before using Hunting Grounds to fill any remaining recipe shortage. Field Search also exposes one-time hidden rewards, which are separate from the recurring material route.
Have Celia’s Absorption ability available to collect finds.
Enter the Chapter 9 field and check the map’s Search-find indicator.
Activate Lathel’s Search ability to reveal gatherable finds.
Move through the accessible field and approach the revealed collectible spots.
Use Celia’s Absorption on the finds that require her ability to collect.
Check the map indicator again and visit remaining marked finds.
Review the wood materials gathered against your intended recipe.
If still short, compare a Chapter 9 Hunting Ground run with other uses for Cooked Rice.
Farming tips
Field Search complements the Chapter 9 Hunting Ground; collect the daily finds first before spending Rice on extra wood.
The map’s find count helps distinguish remaining collectibles from spots already gathered.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the Search collection as daily field finds become available. Individual hidden rewards are one-time; the recurring gathering route does not cost Cooked Rice. Use a Hunting Ground for additional material runs when needed.
Common mistakes
Expecting a field find to respawn immediately: treat the route as a daily collection, not an unlimited loop.
Searching without the required abilities: bring Lathel’s Search and Celia’s Absorption before routing the field.
Spending Rice before checking daily finds: gather the free field materials first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the map shows no remaining Search finds for the visit or your wood requirement is met; use a different chapter or activity for other materials.
