Where to farm
Story Pack 7 and Story Pack 8 fields; use Lathel’s Search and Celia’s Absorption.
Lathel’s Search reveals field finds in Story Packs 7 and 8, where daily gathering can supply ores used in gear crafting. Celia’s Absorption is useful for collecting those finds. Gather the chapters’ available materials first, then compare your inventory with the recipe you intend to craft. If a shortage remains, Lizardman Altar is a named Chapter 7 Hunting Ground target for ore, but it uses Rice.
Have Celia’s Absorption ability available to collect finds.
Check your gear recipe and identify which ore is missing.
Travel to Chapter 7 and inspect the map’s Search-find count.
Activate Lathel’s Search and approach the revealed field finds.
Use Celia’s Absorption to collect any finds requiring it.
Repeat the Search check and collection in Chapter 8.
Review your ore inventory and determine whether the recipe shortage remains.
If more ore is needed, check the Lizardman Altar reward preview and compare Rice cost with daily bonuses.
Farming tips
Field Search is a limited daily collection; it can reduce, but may not remove, the need for Hunting Ground runs.
Collect only what is currently accessible; story-pack unlocks determine which fields you can visit.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Search collection in both fields as daily finds become available. Individual hidden rewards are one-time, while the field materials are a daily route. Hunting Grounds provide a separate Rice-funded way to pursue ore.

Treating Search as an unlimited farm: collect the available daily finds, then switch activities.
Using Rice before gathering field materials: check both chapters first.
Assuming every ore comes from both chapters equally: compare the material inventory and activity reward preview.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the daily Search finds are collected or your recipe has enough ore; use another target for remaining shortages.
