WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Story Pack 9 > Mountain Keeper’s Shelter Hunting Ground.
Mountain Keeper’s Shelter in Story Pack 9 is a Hunting Ground source for hardwood. Use it when a gear recipe needs wood beyond what Chapter 9 field Search provides. The Hunting Ground costs Rice, so compare that use with current gold and Slime bonuses. Confirm the reward preview in your client before spending, and defeat the boss on the selected difficulty to unlock its Hunt Request.
Have Cooked Rice available if you plan to farm beyond a manual unlock clear.
Have a gear recipe or crafting goal that needs hardwood.
Open your planned gear recipe and record its wood requirement.
Visit Story Pack 9 and enter Mountain Keeper’s Shelter.
Review the current reward preview for hardwood and select an available difficulty.
Manually complete the encounters and defeat the boss if you have not cleared that difficulty.
Open Hunt Request from the field menu once the boss clear unlocks automation.
Spend Rice on additional runs only while hardwood remains a priority over gold or Slimes.
Check your material inventory and use the gathered wood in the planned craft.
Farming tips
Complete Chapter 9 Search with Lathel when daily field finds are available; the Hunting Ground supplements that limited collection.
Keep the recipe in view while farming so you can stop when its wood component is covered.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with Rice when hardwood is still needed and the reward preview confirms it as a target. Auto-runs require the boss clear on the chosen difficulty; field Search is a separate daily collection route.
Common mistakes
Treating the Hunting Ground as a free daily collection: it uses Rice, unlike field Search.
Assuming auto-hunt unlocks without a boss clear: defeat the boss on that difficulty first.
Farming wood without a recipe goal: redirect Rice once the required quantity is covered.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the planned craft has enough hardwood or when a boosted gold or Slime run better serves your account.
