WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Elite Dungeon Anomaly selected at Tinka’s Domain; clear the floors and defeat the final boss.

Runestones provide a way to carry a Legendary power forward through transmutation. The recorded route for earning them is the Elite Dungeon Anomaly boss reward. Elite runs include more elite and champion enemies and have a better end reward than standard Dungeon Anomalies, but they are also more demanding. Enter with a build that can finish the route, then use the Runestone with a specific power and enough Champion’s Crowns.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock Elite Dungeon Anomalies after campaign progression.
  • Bring a build able to survive the more elite- and champion-heavy route.
  • For later transmutation, reserve a blank Runestone, a power-bearing item, and 50 Champion’s Crowns per operation.
  1. At Tinka’s Domain, select Elite Dungeon Anomaly from the Anomaly options.
  2. Set a difficulty that your character can complete without frequent deaths.
  3. Enter and clear each floor, collecting useful drops while advancing to the exits.
  4. Reach the final boss room and defeat the boss.
  5. Open the boss reward chest and collect any Runestone reward.
  6. At Theo’s Transmuter, use a blank Runestone with an item carrying the Legendary power you want and 50 Champion’s Crowns.
  7. Keep the resulting power-bearing Rune until you are ready to apply it to an eligible item; that application also costs 50 Crowns.

Farming tips

  • Treat the Runestone as a crafting component, not a finished gear upgrade; leave Crowns for the separate application step.
  • Choose a difficulty by completed boss runs, since an uncompleted Elite route cannot deliver its end reward.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable while Elite Dungeon Anomalies are available. A Runestone is a reward target, not a guaranteed drop on every boss clear.

Common mistakes

  • Entering before the build can handle the denser elite encounters; lower the selected difficulty until the boss route is reliable.
  • Spending the extraction Crowns and forgetting application costs another 50; budget for both steps.
  • Using the Rune on an incompatible item; check the target equipment type before applying it.

When to stop or switch

Stop farming once you have enough Runestones for the powers you plan to transfer, or switch to standard Dungeon Anomalies if the Elite clear is too costly.
