Cooking and Processing

Turn farm ingredients into useful foods and artisan goods while preserving items needed for progression.

PC / Global, current 1.x release
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Farm kitchen and artisan equipment, including the Cheese Press and Mason Jar.

Kitchen recipes and artisan machines accept particular inputs, so check the recipe before using valuable ingredients. Large Milk can become Cheese Wheel in a Cheese Press or Large Butter in a Mason Jar when the relevant machine and recipe are available. Collect finished goods and choose whether to cook, offer, use for a request, age, or sell them.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlocked kitchen recipe or artisan station
  • Machine suited to the product you want
  • Crop or animal ingredient accepted by that recipe
  1. Choose the food or artisan output you want to make.
  2. Check the recipe or machine input information before committing ingredients.
  3. Set aside items needed for an altar, request, or collection goal.
  4. Put remaining ingredients into a compatible kitchen or artisan station.
  5. For Large Milk, use a Cheese Press for Cheese Wheel or a Mason Jar for Large Butter when the recipe is available.
  6. Collect the product when the station indicates it is ready.
  7. Review its uses before shipping, including cooking, quests, offerings, or aging where compatible.

Farming tips

  • Farming mastery unlocks processing options over time; check which recipes and machines you have access to.
  • Confirm the machine accepts your ingredient instead of assuming every station handles the same goods.

Repeat, collect and use

Processing can be repeated while you have compatible ingredients and machine access. Recipes and stations depend on progression unlocks and the available input supply.

Common mistakes

  • Using an item needed for an offering: reserve required goods before cooking or processing.
  • Loading the wrong machine: match the desired output with the station’s recipe.
  • Shipping a finished product without checking other uses: consider requests, cooking, and aging first.

When to stop or switch

Stop a batch when you have enough of the intended output or when the remaining raw ingredients are needed for another active goal.
