WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Outdoor farm plots in Summer; Sam’s General Store in Starlet Town sells seasonal seeds.

Summer crops have individual growing seasons, maturation periods, and, for some crops, repeat harvests. Check those details before buying and account for the time needed to collect later harvests before Fall. If you plant a trellis crop, leave room to move beside it so you can tend and pick it.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Summer seeds available at Sam’s
  • Hoe and watering can
  • A field layout with access to planted crops
  1. Check Sam’s seed stock and inspect the listed season and growth information for each option.
  2. Compare the crop schedule with the remaining Summer days, including any later harvests for crops that regrow.
  3. Choose a plot size you can water daily and leave access beside any trellis crops.
  4. Hoe the field, plant the seeds, and water the crops each day.
  5. Check the field as crops approach maturity and harvest when ready.
  6. Set aside produce needed for current offerings or requests.
  7. Ship extra produce and clear seasonal plants that will not continue into Fall.

Farming tips

  • A repeat-harvest crop only helps if its later harvest fits your calendar and routine.
  • Keep a walkable path beside vine plants instead of filling every neighboring tile.

Repeat, collect and use

Plant and harvest during Summer whenever the crop’s listed schedule fits. Check the calendar again before each new planting; repeat harvests are crop-specific.

Common mistakes

  • Planting too late for the first harvest: compare the listed maturity period with the days left.
  • Blocking access to trellis crops: leave a path for tending and harvesting.
  • Selling a needed harvest: check active requests and offerings before shipping extras.

When to stop or switch

Stop planting when a crop cannot mature before Fall, or when there is not enough Summer left to collect its later harvests. Focus on harvesting and reserving produce instead.
