WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Undergrounds around the Core, including the surrounding Dirt terrain and neutral border areas.
Work outward from the Core in manageable branches, collecting early materials while keeping a safe return path. The Undergrounds are the fixed starting area, even though nearby features vary.
Use the Core as your starting reference and choose an unexplored direction on the map.
Dig a short branch into Dirt terrain, checking walls for Copper and clearing only enough space to travel safely.
Collect useful wood, plant fiber, and visible supplies as you go; mark ore clusters and points of interest.
Watch for slimes and avoid provoking passive ones unless you need to clear the path or gather drops.
When your pack is filling or health is low, follow the branch back to the Core rather than extending it blindly.
Craft or smelt what you gathered, then start the next branch from the known safe area.
As you meet tougher inner biomes, carry appropriate gear and switch the expedition target to their materials.
Farming tips
Leave a recognizable, walkable route back to the Core so repeated trips do not become a maze.
Keep map notes for veins and boulders; they turn exploration discoveries into useful return trips.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable exploration, but cleared terrain does not regenerate its mined materials. New supply comes from unexplored world areas and discovered boulders.
Common mistakes
Digging long branches without a return landmark: use the map and keep the Core route clear.
Fighting every passive slime: avoid unnecessary combat and preserve health.
Expecting every resource to come from Dirt: follow the inner biome boundary when your Copper needs are met.
When to stop or switch
Leave the starting area once you have the basic tools and Copper stock you need, then pursue Tin, Iron, or a specific inner-biome resource.
