WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Scarlet-bearing walls and ore nodes in Azeos’ Wilderness, the outer biome beyond the Great Wall.
The practical first Scarlet goal is enough hand-mined ore to smelt bars for the Automation Table and initial Drills. Once a boulder is found, drilling can extend the supply without constant mining trips.
Radial biome-distance schematic from the Core. It shows distance bands, not a fixed compass map; outer biome sectors are seed-dependent.
GET STARTED
How to farm
Before you go
Access through the Great Wall after defeating the three initial Titans.
Pickaxe suited to Scarlet-bearing terrain.
Smelter Kiln for Scarlet Bars.
Automation Table access for Drill crafting.
Defeat the three initial Titans and use the Core’s progression to open a Great Wall passage.
Travel through the opening and explore into Azeos’ Wilderness; use your map because biome direction varies by world.
Mine exposed Scarlet Ore by hand and gather enough for the workbench and Drill recipes you intend to make.
Smelt ore in a Smelter Kiln and craft the Automation Table if you have not already done so.
Make Drills and return to any Scarlet boulder you discovered; a boulder itself cannot be hand-mined.
Power the Drills with an Electricity Generator or Lever, then collect the ore from the site or route it toward storage.
Smelt the collected ore as needed and spend bars on additional automation or equipment.
Farming tips
A first Drill needs Scarlet as well as Iron Bars, so retain enough Iron before crafting it.
Mark boulders when first found; the map helps you return without relying on a fixed compass route.
Repeat, collect and use
Hand-mining continues in unexplored Scarlet terrain. A single boulder produces a finite total of 1,800 ore; the setup runs while you explore elsewhere.
Common mistakes
Traveling to the outer ring before the Titan gate is open: progress through the three initial Titans first.
Expecting to start with a Scarlet boulder: collect hand-mined ore for the first Drill.
Treating a boulder as an unlimited deposit: collect its finite output and seek another site when it is depleted.
When to stop or switch
Stop the initial expedition when you have the bars for your planned workbench and Drill setup; return for more Scarlet if an equipment recipe or second site calls for it.
