- Gather crops from the farm, fish from the relevant biome water, and animal products from cared-for livestock as needed.
- Sort ingredients in separate storage so seeds, breeding animals, and cooking stock are not mixed.
- Place compatible ingredients into the Cooking Pot and cook the meal.
- Review the prepared meal’s effects and keep the dishes that fit the planned expedition.
- Store surplus meals in a dedicated chest and carry a practical supply before leaving base.
- After the trip, replenish the ingredients used and repeat only the recipes you still need.
- Cook surplus ingredients before a long trip so inventory space and buffs are ready together.
- Use the meal description to select food for the task rather than cooking every combination available.

Repeatable while ingredients are available. Crop and animal sources can be renewed with care; fish catches vary by biome and are not guaranteed recipe ingredients.
