WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Cooking Pot beside base storage, near crop plots and livestock product chests.
Organize ingredients by role, preserve seed and breeding stock, then cook meals for a specific upcoming activity. The chain uses your established farms and catches rather than requiring a single biome route.
Crops, fish, or livestock products appropriate to the meals you want.
Ingredient storage separated from seeds and breeding stock.
A clear food goal such as exploration or a boss attempt.
Choose the activity you are preparing for and check the in-game Cooking Pot ingredient combinations.
Gather crops from the farm, fish from the relevant biome water, and animal products from cared-for livestock as needed.
Sort ingredients in separate storage so seeds, breeding animals, and cooking stock are not mixed.
Place compatible ingredients into the Cooking Pot and cook the meal.
Review the prepared meal’s effects and keep the dishes that fit the planned expedition.
Store surplus meals in a dedicated chest and carry a practical supply before leaving base.
After the trip, replenish the ingredients used and repeat only the recipes you still need.
Farming tips
Cook surplus ingredients before a long trip so inventory space and buffs are ready together.
Use the meal description to select food for the task rather than cooking every combination available.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while ingredients are available. Crop and animal sources can be renewed with care; fish catches vary by biome and are not guaranteed recipe ingredients.
Common mistakes
Using planting seeds in meals: reserve seeds before selecting cooking stock.
Mixing all animal products into a recipe without checking: keep species outputs sorted and read the in-game meal result.
Cooking a large batch with no planned use: prepare for the next trip and store the remainder.
When to stop or switch
Stop cooking when your planned trip has enough meals and the surplus chest is stocked; restart the chain when supplies fall or a new activity needs different buffs.
