WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Dogtown: Los Osos Motel swimming pool in Golden Pacific for Borzaya; northern tower of Montezuma’s Throne near Capitán Caliente for Taigan.
Some Dogtown Iconics are tied to specific airdrop locations, separate from the six-weapon recurring pool that begins at level 41. This route covers Borzaya at the Los Osos Motel swimming pool and Taigan at the northern tower of Montezuma’s Throne. The available location facts do not identify Alabai’s specific placement, so use this route only for the named targets. Fixed caches can be one-time opportunities; collect the weapon before leaving, and treat Herold as a conditional recovery check if you missed one.
Be ready to navigate the landmark and handle nearby threats.
Choose Borzaya or Taigan; do not search recurring red-smoke drops for these fixed-placement targets.
For Borzaya, go to the Los Osos Motel swimming pool in Golden Pacific and find the fixed airdrop.
For Taigan, go to the northern tower of Montezuma’s Throne near Capitán Caliente and search the scripted tower airdrop.
Clear nearby enemies or bypass them carefully to reach the cache.
Open the cache and take its contents before leaving the area.
Check your inventory for the target weapon. If the opportunity was missed, check Herold’s stock for that specific item.
Farming tips
Taigan belongs to the tower placement, not the level 41 recurring weapon sequence.
Herold’s recovery stock is selective; an item may not be available for purchase.
Repeat, collect and use
These fixed placements are limited opportunities, not repeatable farms. Herold may provide a conditional recovery route for some missed Iconics, but this is not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Looking for Borzaya at a different motel landmark: the supplied location is the Los Osos Motel swimming pool in Golden Pacific.
Searching ordinary recurring drops for Taigan: use the northern tower placement.
Assuming Herold sells every missed Iconic: check for the exact weapon and treat its absence as the limit of this recovery route.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the target weapon. If its fixed cache is gone and Herold does not offer it, move on to an Iconic with an available route.
