WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Dogtown. Listen for an incoming aircraft, look for red smoke, and follow the cache’s beeping as you approach.
Dogtown’s recurring airdrops are a practical route to six Iconic weapons associated with the repeatable cache activity. The pool is separate from Iconics placed at fixed story or airdrop locations. After the activity is available, follow each live drop and open its cache; there is no supported fixed route, timer, or guaranteed weapon per cache. This guide applies to Cyberpunk 2077 with Phantom Liberty.
Own Phantom Liberty and progress into “Lucretia My Reflection.”
Reach level 41 before expecting the recurring six-weapon pool to begin.
Bring a build and supplies suited to fighting or bypassing Barghest guards.
Start “Lucretia My Reflection” and leave the Elizabeth Kress Street hideout to trigger the first airdrop opportunity.
When an aircraft cue sounds in Dogtown, scan the area for red smoke and move toward the beeping cache.
Assess the defenders and surrounding cover; defeat them or reach the cache safely if your build allows.
Interact with the cache and complete its Breach Protocol interaction if prompted.
Inspect the weapon reward and record whether it advances your target in the recurring pool.
Secure the loot before leaving the area; an active cache may despawn if you move away.
Continue exploring Dogtown and respond to later aircraft and smoke cues for another recurring opportunity.
Farming tips
The documented sequence begins at level 41; drops before then do not establish that the pool is unavailable.
Keep a short list of the six recurring targets so you can distinguish them from fixed-placement Iconics.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable after the airdrop activity is triggered, but a cache is not guaranteed to contain an Iconic. Continue with later drops until the target is secured or you choose another route.
Common mistakes
Chasing a fixed-placement weapon through ordinary caches: check whether the target belongs to the recurring pool first.
Leaving an active cache unsecured: it may despawn, so finish the opportunity before moving on.
Expecting a specific drop interval or guaranteed reward: no dependable timer or per-cache guarantee is established.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the recurring Iconic you wanted, or switch to its fixed placement or a selective recovery check if it is outside the recurring pool.
