Where to farm
Steady Hand McDuff’s workshop and Pursuer encounter locations in Lost Bastille.
Lost Bastille offers both fixed and enemy rewards for Twinkling Titanite in Scholar. Steady Hand McDuff sits on a chest; after lighting the brazier near his workshop and moving him, you can open it. Scholar also has multiple Pursuer spawns whose listed drops include Twinkling Titanite. These sources are finite in a playthrough cycle, so collect them as part of area progression before considering other farms. Take the material to a blacksmith for special equipment that upgrades with Twinkling Titanite. Do not apply original-edition assumptions to Scholar’s extra Pursuer encounters or to Ascetic resets.
Light the nearby brazier so McDuff moves off the chest.
Have a route to the Scholar Pursuer encounters you intend to complete.
Find the brazier near McDuff’s workshop and light it to make him move from the chest.
Open the chest he had occupied and collect its Twinkling Titanite.
Check your inventory and identify the special weapon or armor that will use the piece.
Explore the Lost Bastille route and engage available Pursuer encounters when you are prepared.
Defeat each encountered Pursuer and collect its reward before leaving the area.
Return to a bonfire and review the remaining Scholar Pursuer locations if you are still seeking their fixed drops.
Take the collected titanite to a blacksmith and apply it along the special equipment upgrade path.
Farming tips
Keep these fixed rewards separate from random enemy-drop expectations; the workshop chest is a concrete pickup.
In Scholar, Pursuer placements differ from the original game, so do not assume the original number or route.
Repeat, collect and use
These pickups and encounter rewards are limited per cycle. Ascetics reset many eligible enemies and bosses but do not guarantee that every unique reward or pickup returns.
Common mistakes
Trying to loot McDuff’s chest while he is still sitting on it; light the brazier first so he relocates.
Assuming this is an unlimited source; complete the available rewards once and switch to a repeatable enemy farm if you need more.

When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting the workshop chest and available Pursuer rewards, then use Shrine of Amana or Dragon Aerie if you still need Twinkling Titanite.
