The poison swamp at ground level in Blighttown, particularly the leeches toward the far side of the swamp.
Before you go
- Reach the lower Blighttown swamp and activate its bonfire or the nearby Great Hollow entrance bonfire.
- Bring poison-curing items or enough healing to manage swamp exposure.
- Use a weapon that can dispatch the leeches consistently.
- Optional: equip the Rusted Iron Ring for easier movement through the swamp.
Farming steps
- Rest at the swamp bonfire and equip the Rusted Iron Ring if available.
- Leave the bonfire and move through the swamp toward the leech group on the far side.
- Defeat the leeches, keeping track of poison buildup and health.
- Inspect the drops and collect Green Titanite Shards that appear.
- Return along the same route to the bonfire and rest to respawn the group.
- Repeat until you have enough shards for the next Magic, Fire, or Divine upgrade step.
- A Rusted Iron Ring reduces the movement burden in the swamp, making the return leg easier.
- Green Titanite supports several upgrade branches; check which path your weapon is on before continuing to collect.
Repeat, collect and use
The leeches respawn after resting, so the enemy loop is repeatable. Green Titanite drops are not guaranteed from every kill.
