The DIY Boss Rush door becomes available after clearing Trial 3 once. It lets you assemble a run from bosses and versions that have been unlocked. This is useful when you want repeated practice against a chosen encounter or a shorter custom sequence. The mode remains self-contained, and the custom route has no end chest reward.
Before you go Unlock Boss Rush and clear Trial 3 once. Have the bosses or versions you want to select unlocked. Choose a cell spending goal for the end of the custom run. Enter the DIY door and open the boss selection menu. Choose from the bosses and versions available in your save. Build a sequence focused on the encounter you want to practice or the cells you want to collect. Start the custom trial and fight each selected boss in order. Pick up cells dropped during the fights and maintain a build that can handle the selected sequence. Complete the route and reach the end-of-run spending point. Use the cells at the Legendary Forge or Collector before leaving. Farming tips For practice, include the target encounter and only the supporting fights you need to make the session manageable. Check that a selected version is unlocked before planning the route around it. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable after the DIY door unlocks. Cells are mode-local and spent each run; the route has no end chest reward.
Common mistakes Searching for DIY before clearing Trial 3; finish that trial once to open the door. Assuming every boss version is selectable; choose only from the options the menu makes available. Leaving cells unspent because there is no end chest; use the Forge or Collector at the spending point. When to stop or switch Stop after the target boss practice or desired cell spending is complete; revise the sequence if it is longer than the goal requires.
