WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Chaos Sanctuary in Act IV, reached from the River of Flame waypoint.
Run the Sanctuary when you want a broad high-density farm rather than a single targeted boss. Clear elite groups while activating the seals, then kill Diablo and collect the route’s drops. In Hell, dangerous immunities and elite modifiers can change how smoothly the route goes.
Before you go Reach Act IV Hell for the endgame route. Have sufficient resistances and damage for elite packs and Diablo. Bring an alternate damage approach or a way to bypass immunities your build cannot handle. Take the River of Flame waypoint and enter Chaos Sanctuary. Clear reachable elite packs while locating the three seal areas. Activate the seals and defeat the seal bosses that appear. Pick up useful runes, bases, charms, and gear as you clear. Defeat Diablo after completing the seal sequence. Return to town to store the haul, then reset and run again. Farming tips If the area is currently Terrorized, consider it for experience and broader high-level item potential, provided your build can clear it. Avoid losing time to an immune pack your build cannot damage; move on or use your alternate damage source. Repeat, collect and use Repeat as often as useful; drops are random and the route offers no guaranteed specific rune or unique.
Common mistakes Skipping the seal sequence and leaving before Diablo appears; activate all required seals and handle their bosses. Fighting every resistant pack despite poor damage; bypass or use alternate damage to maintain pace. Treating Magic Find as a rune multiplier; it changes item quality rolls, not rune drop frequency. When to stop or switch Switch to another farm if the Sanctuary’s immunities, deaths, or layout consistently cut your clear pace.
