Where to farm

Durance of Hate Level 3 in Act III, reached from the Level 2 waypoint.

Run Mephisto when you want broad gear targets from one fixed boss encounter. The trip is centered on reaching Durance of Hate Level 3, killing him, checking the loot, and resetting; fast, reliable kills matter more than chasing a specific drop each run.

How to farm

Before you go

Reach Mephisto in the difficulty you plan to farm.
Have enough damage and resistance to defeat him reliably.
Carry room in your inventory for gear you want to identify or keep.

Take the Durance of Hate Level 2 waypoint.
Search for the stairs to Level 3, using teleport or careful navigation if available.
Clear immediate threats around Mephisto’s platform.
Defeat Mephisto and collect the drops you are targeting.
Return to town, identify likely upgrades, and store useful items.
Save and exit, then repeat the route.

Farming tips

Ranged characters can use the moat’s pathing to limit some incoming attacks, but keep an escape route.
Balance Magic Find against kill speed and survival; extra MF is not helpful if it makes each run much slower.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat as many times as desired; unique and set drops are random, and no specific item is assured.

Common mistakes

Standing in dangerous range while trying a moat approach; reposition if the boss can reach you.
Collecting every low-value item and filling the inventory; leave space for meaningful drops.
Assuming Magic Find increases rune drops or the number of items; it changes quality chances only.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your target gear is found or when another boss or area better matches the item type you still need.
