Hell Terror Zones broaden the areas where sufficiently high-level monsters can drop top-end gear, while allowing you to target dense packs instead of a single boss.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
An active Hell Terror Zone in Hell difficulty, preferably a dense area with terrain and immunities your build can handle.
Farm an active Hell Terror Zone for a broad search of uniques, sets, runes, and useful bases. Terrorization raises monster levels, but no particular item is assured; your practical goal is to kill many eligible monsters efficiently and inspect the drops you can use.
Use a build that can kill elite groups in the chosen area safely.
Keep inventory space for valuable drops and identify items or bases after the run.
Check which area is terrorized in the current game.
Choose a zone whose density, navigation, and damage matchups suit your character.
Clear champion, unique, and ordinary packs that you can defeat without excessive detours.
Pick up items that match your goals, including candidate runeword bases and valuable uniques.
Identify likely gear upgrades and store useful runes, gems, and bases separately.
Continue while the zone remains efficient, then move to a better active area or another farm.
Farming tips
Magic Find affects item quality rolls, not the number of drops or rune drops; do not sacrifice too much kill speed to stack it.
A Sunder Charm changes how a damage immunity is handled, but its penalties and the current charm rules matter; check your character’s resistances before equipping one.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat in any suitable active Hell Terror Zone; exact drops vary and there is no guaranteed unique per run.
Common mistakes
Expecting a named unique to drop because the zone is terrorized; treat it as a broad gear farm, not a guaranteed target.
Skipping packs to chase only elites when your goal includes runes or bases; total kills matter for broad area farming.
Overloading on Magic Find at the cost of survival or clear speed; use a balanced setup.
When to stop or switch
Switch when deaths or slow immunities cut into your clear pace, or when a different active zone better matches the item or base you seek.
