An eligible online game after the Diablo Clone trigger; the Clone replaces a Super Unique monster in the world.
Before you go
- Play an online mode where the Diablo Clone event is available.
- Have the character and gear to defeat a powerful Hell encounter.
- Be present in the game when the event notification confirms the spawn.
Farming steps
- Monitor the in-game Diablo Clone notification in an eligible online game.
- When the spawn is confirmed, check likely Super Unique locations you can reach safely.
- Locate the replaced monster and engage Diablo Clone with your strongest reliable damage.
- Avoid standing in dangerous attacks and use healing or repositioning as needed.
- Defeat him and inspect the ground for Annihilus.
- Identify the charm and compare its attributes, resistances, and experience bonus with your needs.
- Annihilus and Hellfire Torch come from separate events; the Pandemonium chain does not produce Annihilus.
- Do not spend time searching before the event notification; the spawn is conditional.
Repeat, collect and use
Limited by event triggers and mode availability; a new attempt requires another valid Clone spawn, and Annihilus is not assured by the route description.
Common mistakes
- Confusing Uber Tristram with Diablo Clone; prepare for the separate event and trigger.
- Assuming a spawn is active without the in-game notice; wait for confirmation before searching.
- Entering the fight without Hell-ready defenses; use suitable gear and healing before engaging.
When to stop or switch
