Seasonal Journey chapter progression
Altar of Rites in Act I town, available to Seasonal characters while the seasonal altar is active.
Before you go
- A Seasonal character in an active season.
- Access to Act I town and the Altar of Rites.
- Ability to complete the activity or obtain the item specified by the next sacrifice.
Farming steps
- Interact with the Altar and inspect the next available sacrifice requirement.
- Read the complete requirement, including any item or material quantities, before farming.
- Use the named activity shown by that requirement to collect the needed item or stock.
- Return to Act I town and confirm the required items are in your inventory or materials reserve.
- Select the altar node and sacrifice the listed requirement.
- Read the newly revealed node and its sacrifice requirement before choosing your next farm.
- Continue node by node until you unlock the seasonal bonus or reach a requirement you want to defer.
- Gather only for the currently displayed node; later requirements are gated by altar order and can call for different items.
- Check your inventory carefully before sacrificing rare or useful gear, especially when a requirement names a specific item.
Repeat, collect and use
Each node sacrifice is a one-time step on the seasonal altar track. The altar is available only while that season’s system is active; unlocked nodes are not a renewable material source.
Common mistakes
- Farming a later-node material early: unlock nodes in order and recheck the next requirement each time.
- Sacrificing a valuable item without checking its role: verify it is the required item and keep any copy needed for your build.
- Assuming altar requirements are identical across seasons: follow the live altar’s displayed requirement.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the desired altar bonus is unlocked or when the next sacrifice cost is not worth pursuing; resume the chain when you can collect its exact requirement.
