This seasonal route is for the Altar of Rites in Reaper of Souls. Its sacrifice requirements are displayed in game and can vary by node, so treat the next locked node as your shopping list. Gather that requirement from its named source, return to the Altar, and sacrifice it to unlock the next node. Seasonal altar progression is a finite chain rather than a repeatable currency farm.
Ability to complete the activity or obtain the item specified by the next sacrifice.
Interact with the Altar and inspect the next available sacrifice requirement.
Read the complete requirement, including any item or material quantities, before farming.
Use the named activity shown by that requirement to collect the needed item or stock.
Return to Act I town and confirm the required items are in your inventory or materials reserve.
Select the altar node and sacrifice the listed requirement.
Read the newly revealed node and its sacrifice requirement before choosing your next farm.
Continue node by node until you unlock the seasonal bonus or reach a requirement you want to defer.
Farming tips
Gather only for the currently displayed node; later requirements are gated by altar order and can call for different items.
Check your inventory carefully before sacrificing rare or useful gear, especially when a requirement names a specific item.
Repeat, collect and use
Each node sacrifice is a one-time step on the seasonal altar track. The altar is available only while that season’s system is active; unlocked nodes are not a renewable material source.

Farming a later-node material early: unlock nodes in order and recheck the next requirement each time.
Sacrificing a valuable item without checking its role: verify it is the required item and keep any copy needed for your build.
