The Pit obelisk in Cerrigar; select an available tier at the obelisk.
Before you go
- Access to the Pit through endgame progression.
- A build able to clear packs and a boss at the chosen tier.
- A completion or progression target.
Farming steps
- Travel to the Pit obelisk in Cerrigar and inspect the tiers available to your character.
- Choose a tier your build can finish within the activity timer.
- Enter and defeat enemy packs efficiently to fill the progress bar.
- Follow the route through the dungeon as the progress target advances.
- Locate the summoned boss when the bar is filled and engage without unnecessary detours.
- Defeat the boss before the timer expires and collect the completion rewards shown.
- Choose a tier based on reliable clears; repeated failures do not advance a completion goal.
- If the boss is where runs fail, adjust your build or tier before trying again.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat at a suitable available tier while Pit progression remains your goal. Each run is a separate timed clear; completion is required for advancement.
Common mistakes
- Choosing a tier by number alone: use one your build can reliably finish.
- Taking optional detours that slow progress: prioritize filling the bar and reaching the boss.
- Ignoring the timer after finding the boss: focus damage and finish before time runs out.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the planned progression target is reached or the tier is no longer reliably clearable; lower the tier or improve the build before returning.
