Mining Rock Spots
Rock nodes along the edges of unlocked Valley biomes, including Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Sunlit Plateau.
Before you go
- Unlock the Royal Pickaxe.
- Unlock the biome where the target mineral can appear.
- Bring a Mining-role villager if you want role-based bonus drops.
Farming steps
- Identify the ore or gem you need and check its biome association in your collection information.
- Travel to an unlocked biome that can provide the target.
- Equip the Pickaxe and strike each visible rock node.
- Collect ore and gems after each node is mined.
- Check exposed gem colors and collect any visible drops before moving on.
- Use or store the materials for your current crafting goal.
- Spread your mining round across the relevant biomes; Plaza-only mining will not supply every later biome gem.
- Hang out with a Mining-role villager before clearing nodes if bonus materials would help.
Repeat, collect and use
Rock spots refresh after mining, so return to the target biome later for another collection round.
Common mistakes
- Mining the wrong biome can produce other materials; confirm the target’s region first.
- Leaving drops behind wastes the node; collect materials before moving on.
- Expecting a guaranteed gem from every node can distort planning; keep mining until the needed amount is collected.
When to stop or switch
Stop once your crafting or collection target is met; switch to another biome if the remaining target material is region-specific.
