Before you go
- Complete the early Merlin progression that opens Dream Castle.
- Earn Dreamlight for the intended gate.
- Know which crop, fish, ore, or forage item you are pursuing.
Farming steps
- Check the item or quest target and identify its required biome.
- Use the Valley map to locate the blocked route or Dream Castle door.
- Open the required door or clear the biome entrance as applicable.
- Pay the Dreamlight cost to unlock the region.
- If farming a crop, visit Goofy’s Stall and repair it if needed before buying seeds.
- Collect the target material and save the amount required for your task.
- Plan for both biome access and stall repair when a crop seed is the goal.
- Choose an unlock that connects to an active quest or needed resource rather than opening regions without a current purpose.
Repeat, collect and use
Biome unlocks are one-time progression gates; once a biome is open, return to it for repeatable gathering and farming.
Common mistakes
- Confusing a blocked entrance with an unpaid Dream Castle door can stall the route; check the actual gate.
- Assuming a biome unlock repairs its stall can leave seed shopping unavailable; handle stall repair separately.
- Spending Dreamlight before identifying the target biome may delay a necessary unlock; check the source first.
When to stop or switch
Stop unlocking once the target region is accessible and its source is usable; resume progression when another goal requires a new biome.
