Claim the Eternal Ferrystone
The June 2026 travel update adds reusable fast travel after Seat of the Sovran, changing how often you need to collect…
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Claim the Eternal Ferrystone
Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn in Vernworth, after completing Seat of the Sovran.
Before you go
- Complete the Seat of the Sovran quest.
- Install the June 2026 fast-travel update.
- Have an active Portcrystal destination available for travel.
Farming steps
- Install the update that adds the Eternal Ferrystone and related travel changes.
- Complete Seat of the Sovran if you have not already done so.
- Speak with Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn after the quest completion.
- Check your inventory for the Eternal Ferrystone.
- If you completed the quest before updating, check inventory after installation; the update provides the item to eligible saves.
- Activate or place Portcrystals you want to visit, then use the Eternal Ferrystone outdoors and select a destination from the map.
- A Ferrystone still needs a valid Portcrystal destination; the reusable item does not create one.
- Keep an eye on travel restrictions: the item does not remove indoor or story-based limits.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time progression reward. Once acquired, it can be used repeatedly; there is no need to farm copies.
Common mistakes
- Looking for the reward before finishing Seat of the Sovran and speaking with Brant; complete the quest dialogue first.
- Assuming the item works without a destination; activate a fixed or placeable Portcrystal.
- Trying to travel from a confined interior; move to a suitable outdoor location.
When to stop or switch
Stop checking for the reward once the Eternal Ferrystone is in inventory. Shift ordinary Ferrystone pickups to optional supply collection.
