WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn in Vernworth, after completing Seat of the Sovran.
The Eternal Ferrystone can be used repeatedly to travel to active Portcrystal destinations. In the current base-game route, it is tied to Seat of the Sovran and a conversation with Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn. If you completed the quest before installing the update, the item should be added to inventory after updating.
Before you go Complete the Seat of the Sovran quest. Install the June 2026 fast-travel update. Have an active Portcrystal destination available for travel. Install the update that adds the Eternal Ferrystone and related travel changes. Complete Seat of the Sovran if you have not already done so. Speak with Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn after the quest completion. Check your inventory for the Eternal Ferrystone. If you completed the quest before updating, check inventory after installation; the update provides the item to eligible saves. Activate or place Portcrystals you want to visit, then use the Eternal Ferrystone outdoors and select a destination from the map. Farming tips A Ferrystone still needs a valid Portcrystal destination; the reusable item does not create one. Keep an eye on travel restrictions: the item does not remove indoor or story-based limits. Repeat, collect and use One-time progression reward. Once acquired, it can be used repeatedly; there is no need to farm copies.
Common mistakes Looking for the reward before finishing Seat of the Sovran and speaking with Brant; complete the quest dialogue first. Assuming the item works without a destination; activate a fixed or placeable Portcrystal. Trying to travel from a confined interior; move to a suitable outdoor location. When to stop or switch Stop checking for the reward once the Eternal Ferrystone is in inventory. Shift ordinary Ferrystone pickups to optional supply collection.
