Where to farm
Your Main Pawn’s online rental record, synchronized by resting at an inn or bench while connected.
Online pawn rentals can produce Rift Crystals when another player hires and later releases your Main Pawn. This is a passive, uncertain source: you cannot force another player to hire the pawn or control when a return arrives. The game synchronizes pawn returns when you rest, so check after a suitable online rest. This guide applies to Dark Arisen’s online pawn system. If you need RC immediately, explore Bitterblack Isle rather than waiting for a rental.
Create and update a useful Main Pawn with appropriate equipment and skills.
Rest somewhere that synchronizes pawn data.
Review your Main Pawn’s vocation, equipment, skills, and inclinations before resting online.
Use a Rift Stone to review pawn details if you want to make adjustments before uploading the pawn’s current state.
Rest at an inn or bench while connected so the pawn information and any completed returns can synchronize.
Check the return report for Rift Crystals, knowledge, and items provided by the other Arisen.
Collect the reported rewards and review any returned equipment or gifts before deciding what to keep.
Update the pawn’s build as your own progression changes, then rest online again to publish the new state.
For guaranteed activity under your control, return to Bitterblack Isle and collect drops and relics instead of waiting for hires.
Farming tips
Give the pawn a clear role and useful equipment so its listing communicates how it can help a party.
Treat gifts and RC as variable; a long period without a hire does not mean the synchronization failed.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the rest-and-check cycle whenever you want to synchronize. Income depends on another player hiring and releasing the pawn; it is not a scheduled or guaranteed farm.
Common mistakes
Expecting RC just for resting online; crystals arrive only when a rental return includes them.
Forgetting to synchronize after a return; rest while connected and then inspect the report.
Leaving a pawn in an outdated build; refresh skills and equipment when you want to improve its usefulness to other players.
When to stop or switch
Stop checking for a rental when you need an immediate RC budget; switch to Bitterblack Isle exploration or postpone purification until a pawn return arrives.
