Use Barroch’s enhancement service to improve Wyrmfire equipment when your RC and Bitterblack materials meet the displayed requirements.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Barroch at Bitterblack Isle, including his service locations as Isle progression permits.
Barroch provides equipment enhancement services on Bitterblack Isle. Wyrmfire equipment can be submitted for further improvement, but the materials and Rift Crystal cost depend on the selected item and enhancement stage. Inspect the service menu rather than assuming one fixed recipe. This is a Dark Arisen endgame process: gather the required items through Isle exploration, then spend only on equipment central to your build. Enhancement is separate from Olra’s purification service, which reveals equipment from cursed relics.
Reach Barroch at the Isle and open the enhancement service.
Collect the exact Rift Crystals and materials shown for the selected enhancement.
Have a backup weapon or armor set if the item is essential to your current route.
Travel to Barroch’s available Bitterblack Isle service location.
Choose the equipment enhancement option and select the Wyrmfire item.
Read the displayed requirements for that item and stage, including materials and RC.
Compare the cost with your current inventory and decide whether the item is important enough to upgrade now.
If short, note the missing materials and use mining or room exploration to collect them.
Return to Barroch when requirements are met and confirm the enhancement.
Recheck the item’s stats and store or equip it based on your build.
Farming tips
Prioritize gear you use consistently, since resources spent on a temporary item may be better saved.
Check the full requirement list before farming so you do not collect unrelated materials.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the process for each eligible enhancement stage as long as Barroch displays another available upgrade and you can meet its requirements. Costs and materials vary by item and stage.
Common mistakes
Assuming every Wyrmfire item has identical requirements; inspect each item’s menu entry.
Spending RC on equipment you rarely use; compare its role in your current build first.
Taking Olra’s purification menu as the enhancement service; speak with Barroch for upgrades.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the next enhancement costs materials or RC reserved for a more valuable piece, or when the displayed options no longer improve your current setup meaningfully.
