Where to farm
Chaos Expeditions, beginning at your current tier and testing the next accessible tier.
Tier advancement is a progression choice, not simply a race for a higher number. Each tier can add enemies and mechanics that invalidate a defense layout that worked before. Check the next tier’s schedule, complete a run, and judge whether the new difficulty is sustainable before moving your regular farming there.
Unlock Chaos Expeditions and meet the next tier’s champion-score requirement.
Have a defense plan that can address the next tier’s special enemies.
Keep a reliable lower-tier option available for rebuilding or experience.
Open the Expedition tier list and identify the next tier available to you.
Read the listed enemies and special threats for that tier.
Choose a map whose lanes your defense setup can cover, then start the Expedition.
Build around the specific counter mechanics; do not assume a prior tier’s layout will work unchanged.
Clear the waves and claim the victory chest.
Inspect the drops and verify they are useful for your equipment progression.
Repeat the new tier if clears are dependable; otherwise return to a tier you can complete while improving your setup.
Farming tips
Advance when you can answer the new tier’s counter mechanics, not just when the menu allows entry.
Expeditions are the standard endgame mission mode and Chaos tiers supply progression and loot.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat successful runs at the highest sustainable tier. Tier advancement itself is a one-way progression choice only in the sense that you can still select lower tiers for farming; it is not a consumable reward.
Common mistakes
Skipping the enemy check and discovering a counter mechanic during combat; inspect the schedule before committing defenses.
Farming a tier that produces frequent failures; use the most difficult tier you can clear consistently.
When to stop or switch
Stay at the new tier once you can clear it reliably; switch back temporarily if you need safer shard or experience runs.
