Reach first Ancient Power requirements

The first Ancient Power reset requires floor 30 and Ascension 250, and resets most gear progression.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Onslaught for floor progress, Expeditions for experience, and Mananode in Town for the reset.

Ancient Power is a prestige reset for players prepared to rebuild. The first reset has two concrete gates: Onslaught floor 30 and Ascension level 250. Meeting them does not mean resetting is automatically worthwhile: gear and ungilded shards are downgraded, while the reset awards a random Prestigious weapon and progression bonuses. Check the reset interface and prepare before accepting.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Complete the Campaign and unlock Onslaught.
  • Reach Onslaught floor 30.
  • Reach Ascension level 250.
  • Be willing to rebuild downgraded armor, weapons, relics, and ungilded shards.
  1. Advance Onslaught floors while checking lane schedules and mutators before each defense.
  2. Claim floor rewards and improve the setup needed for continued clears.
  3. Run Expeditions that you can complete reliably to earn experience toward Ascension 250.
  4. Check your Ascension level and Onslaught floor against both first-reset requirements.
  5. Before resetting, review gear and shard losses and secure the items you rely on.
  6. Speak with Mananode in Town and inspect the current reset details.
  7. Accept the reset only when the displayed consequences fit your plan.

Farming tips

  • The first reset threshold is floor 30 plus Ascension 250.
  • The game’s progression guidance recommends reaching Chaos 9 first if possible, since it advances the Onslaught starting point; treat that as preparation, not a reset requirement.

Repeat, collect and use

The first reset is a one-time milestone. Further resets have rising floor requirements; check the current Mananode screen before planning another.

Common mistakes

  • Treating Ascension 250 alone as sufficient; also reach floor 30 for the first reset.
  • Resetting immediately upon eligibility; prepare for gear downgrades and the loss of levels on ungilded shards first.

When to stop or switch

Stop at eligibility until you are ready to rebuild; reset only when the prestige benefits and random weapon justify the downgrade for your account.
