Where to farm
Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel, northeast of the Academy in Liurnia; the Crystalian waits at the end of the mine.
Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel is a useful combined target: mine deposits provide a finite haul of stones, and defeating the Crystalian at the end awards Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [1]. Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks to make standard Smithing Stones [1] and [2] repeat purchases. This turns a cave exploration trip into both immediate upgrade materials and a lasting shop unlock. The route is in Liurnia and does not depend on the expansion.
Reach Liurnia and locate the tunnel entrance by the cliff.
Bring healing and a weapon or approach suitable for the Crystalian encounter.
Have a standard armament that can use the stone pickups and shop stock.
Enter the tunnel and activate its Site of Grace.
Descend through the mine, collecting visible Smithing Stone deposits and checking side chambers.
Avoid spending flasks on every miner if you can safely move past them.
Continue downward to the Crystalian arena and defeat the boss.
Collect Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing [1] from the victory reward.
Travel to Roundtable Hold and offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks.
Buy the newly listed Smithing Stone [1] and [2] quantities you need, then reinforce at a smith.
Farming tips
A strike weapon can help against the Crystalian’s hard exterior; keep attacking until its stance breaks and the fight opens up.
The mine pickups are finite, but the bearing’s listed shop tiers can be restocked with runes.
Repeat, collect and use
The cave deposits and boss reward are one-time progression rewards. Afterward, farm runes and purchase the unlocked tiers repeatedly from the Husks.
Common mistakes
Leaving before the boss: the lasting purchase unlock comes from the bearing, not just the mine deposits.
Expecting stones to appear at the shop before offering the bearing: deliver it at Roundtable Hold first.
Using the stones on a unique weapon: those armaments require Somber Smithing Stones.
When to stop or switch
Stop exploring once the bearing is delivered and the immediate weapon plan is supplied; return to buy more only when another standard upgrade needs tiers 1 or 2.
