Bell Bearings turn standard Smithing Stones in supported tiers into recurring purchases at Roundtable Hold.
PC / Global, base game plus Shadow of the Erdtree expansion
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Named mines and late-game areas containing Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearings; deliver each bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
A Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing adds its listed stone tiers to the Twin Maiden Husks’ shop. Once offered, those stones can be bought repeatedly with runes, so you can replenish materials for standard armaments without relying on random drops. The bearings are progression rewards found in mines and later areas; each one covers particular tiers. This guide applies to the base game, including a playthrough with the expansion installed.
Reach the mine or region where the bearing for your needed tier is found.
Defeat the bearing’s guarding boss when required; miner bearings are not all obtained the same way.
Have runes for the bearing route’s boss and for the stones you plan to purchase.
Check the reinforcement screen or Smithing Table to identify the standard stone tier your weapon needs next.
Find the Miner’s Bell Bearing that unlocks that tier in a mine or later area.
Defeat the guarding enemy or claim the bearing at its location.
Return to Roundtable Hold and offer the item to the Twin Maiden Husks.
Open their shop and confirm the newly listed Smithing Stone tiers.
Buy only the stock needed for the weapon or weapons you intend to reinforce.
Visit a smith and apply the stones, then repeat the bearing search for higher tiers when needed.
Farming tips
Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel’s Crystalian drops the first standard miner bearing, which unlocks Smithing Stones [1] and [2].
Later bearings add other tiers; check the Husks’ inventory after every delivery instead of assuming one bearing unlocks everything.
Repeat, collect and use
Each bearing is a one-time pickup, but its listed stones become repeat purchases. Farm runes, buy the required quantities, and return as your weapons advance.
Common mistakes
Expecting the stones to appear before offering the bearing: deliver it to the Twin Maiden Husks first.
Buying every available stone: check the reinforcement cost and buy for a specific weapon plan.
Farming random enemy drops after stock is unlocked: collect runes and purchase the listed tiers instead.
When to stop or switch
Stop the bearing hunt when the unlocked tiers cover your current weapon plan; pursue the next bearing only when an upgrade requires higher stones.
