WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Imperial City districts and sewers for earning stones; Tel Var vendors in the Imperial City safe base for spending.

Tel Var vendors offer crafting materials alongside gear and consumables. This makes a useful end point for Imperial City currency runs: gather stones from NPCs and chests, return safely, then exchange them for a material your character can use. PvP deaths can cost carried Tel Var.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Imperial City access.
  • A character able to defeat NPC groups and reach the safe base.
  • A material or gear purchase target and a willingness to manage PvP exposure.
  1. Enter Imperial City from the Alliance War menu and choose a district or sewer route.
  2. Defeat roaming NPCs and loot treasure chests for Tel Var Stones.
  3. Watch your carried balance and return to the safe base before risking more than you want to lose.
  4. Find a Tel Var vendor and inspect the current material and gear options.
  5. Compare the costs against your crafting goal and purchase the needed materials.
  6. Move the purchased materials to crafting storage or use them in the intended crafting activity.

Farming tips

  • A larger carried balance raises the monster-kill multiplier but also raises the stakes of a player death.
  • Spend toward a concrete crafting need; do not convert stones into materials you have no current use for.

Repeat, collect and use

Tel Var gathering and vendor purchases can be repeated. The carried currency remains vulnerable to loss from player deaths until banked or spent.

Common mistakes

  • Carrying a large balance through dangerous districts: return to base when the risk is no longer worth it.
  • Assuming every vendor sells the same materials: inspect the actual vendor inventory before farming a target amount.
  • Buying before confirming the material is needed: identify the craft or upgrade first.

When to stop or switch

Stop the Imperial City run once you have enough stones for the planned purchase, or return early if nearby PvP makes the balance too risky.
