Farming steps
- Select Firestorm Rescue and review passenger, heat and jammer objectives before departure.
- Equip a rescue ship and passenger capacity appropriate to the scenario; the Lynx is a recommended rescue platform.
- Travel to the burning station and check the active heat state and objective markers.
- Locate and destroy the environmental jammers on the station hull when the operation calls for them.
- Use the temporary heat reduction to continue the rescue objective while monitoring the station temperature.
- Complete the listed passenger evacuations and any remaining operation tasks before heat reaches the failure condition.
- Return to the completion panel and record the rewards actually granted.
- Prioritize jammer destruction when heat pressure is active; it temporarily lowers temperature.
- Avoid the furnace and slow limpet-hacking approach for this scenario; focus on the objective that affects heat.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever Firestorm Rescue appears in Operations. Passenger rescue and jammer objectives recur, but payout varies by difficulty, repeat status and current weekly conditions; confirm each result.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring the heat gauge while collecting passengers; destroy the marked jammers to buy temporary relief.

- Trying slow limpet hacking at furnaces; follow the jammer objective instead.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the completion panel confirms the operation, or leave the run if the heat objective is already unrecoverable and re-evaluate the ship and route.
