WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Gather Copper from labeled surface rocks

On a planet surface, at any ore rock identified as Copper.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Equip the Survival Tool and switch it to Rock Drill mode.
  2. Aim at a candidate ore rock and wait for its material readout.
  3. Check that the label says Copper. If it identifies a different material, continue your search.
  4. Hold the drill action on the Copper rock until it breaks.
  5. Collect the Copper Ore from the broken rock.
  6. Store the ore or check the current constructor recipes to decide which item to make next.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat at other Copper-labeled rocks while they remain available. Each rock is a limited pickup; move on when nearby sources are gone or your immediate Copper requirement is met.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming a rock is Copper from its color or shape: check its displayed material first.
  • Searching only one expected biome: resource placement varies, so inspect rocks across the available terrain if Copper is not appearing.

When to stop or switch

Stop gathering when your inventory holds enough Copper Ore for the current recipes you intend to craft, or switch to another resource search if labeled Copper rocks are difficult to find.
