Copper is an early regional metal used for metalworking and progression recipes. A practical supply comes from combining copper collection with normal Revelwood exploration.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Copper deposits in Revelwood and around the Pillars of Creation.
Once you can reach Revelwood, mine exposed copper veins you find in the region and bring the ore back for processing or crafting. The route is renewable through repeated world resource collection, though individual deposits and mine risks should be checked in your current world.
Copper location from Maki’s February 2024 map reference. Match the player marker and nearby cave/spire landmarks; the map predates later world expansions, so verify the deposit in your current world.Map legend

How to farm
Before you go
A pickaxe.
Access to Revelwood or the relevant nearby area.
Combat supplies for any hostile or Shroud-affected mine approach.
Travel into Revelwood and scan exposed rock faces and mine approaches for copper-colored veins.
Use the map and visible terrain to identify a practical deposit; do not depend on an old coordinate route.
Check the approach for enemies and Shroud exposure before committing to a deeper passage.
Mine the visible copper vein and collect all dropped ore.
Search nearby accessible rock faces for another vein while watching inventory capacity.
Return to a base with the appropriate processing station or crafting access and store the ore by intended use.
Farming tips
Pair copper collection with other Revelwood errands so the travel also advances exploration.
Leave enough inventory space for ore and any other materials you plan to gather.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the region visit whenever copper stocks run low. Deposit availability and route safety vary, so reassess the area each trip.
Common mistakes
Assuming every old mine marker remains accurate: terrain and deposits were adjusted for 1.0, so verify in the current world.
Entering a Shroud area without an exit plan: keep the return route and exposure in mind before mining.
Returning with no processing plan: store copper separately from unprocessed materials you still need to sort.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have enough ore for the next metalworking or tool goal; shift to tin or other progression materials when the recipe calls for them.
