WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Hunt > Wyvern; craft through Sanctuary > Steel Workshop.
Wyvern is both a gear drop source and a source of crafting materials. Crafting gives you a way to target a gear set and slot when random drops have not filled a build. It still costs gold and does not promise a specific useful roll, so decide what slot you need before spending materials.
Before you go Unlock Wyvern and clear a difficulty that your team can repeat. Have a specific gear set and slot in mind for a hero build. Have the gold and crafting materials shown in the Workshop recipe. Know which crafted gear main stats can suit the target hero. Open the Workshop and inspect its available Hunt crafting options before farming. Choose a set and slot that fill a real equipment gap; Wyvern is commonly farmed for Speed gear. Run Wyvern repeatedly, collecting the displayed drops and crafting materials after each run or Background Battling queue. Return to the Workshop and select the intended set and slot rather than crafting at random. Review the crafting cost and confirm you have enough materials and gold for the selected item. Evaluate the crafted piece by slot, main stat, and substats; lock it only if it can improve a build. Use unsuitable gear for gold or extraction as appropriate, then resume Wyvern if that same slot remains a priority. Farming tips Crafting consumes materials and gold, so check the exact set and slot before confirming. The Workshop is useful for narrowing the slot or set target; it does not guarantee ideal substats. Repeat, collect and use Repeat while you have a gear slot to target and enough crafting materials and gold. Crafting is a resource conversion loop, not a one-time reward.
Common mistakes Crafting without a target: identify the hero and slot first, then select the matching option. Assuming a crafted item is automatically good: inspect its stats before investing enhancement materials. Spending all materials on one set: keep your broader account needs in mind and reserve resources for other essential slots. When to stop or switch Stop crafting when the target slot has a usable piece or when gold or materials are better saved for a higher-priority build.
