WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Hero’s Journey achievement unlock check
The Achievements window’s Hero’s Journey entries associated with The Buried Sea, Secrets of Faydwer, and Seeds of Destruction.
Before you go
- A Live character on a server where the relevant achievement era is available.
- Access to the Achievements and Quest windows.
- Ability to enter the zones required by the component you choose.
Farming steps
- Open Achievements and locate Hero’s Journey achievements associated with The Buried Sea, Secrets of Faydwer, or Seeds of Destruction.
- Select an entry and inspect its current eligibility and listed components.
- If the entry is available despite later expansions being locked, choose a component whose zone and task requirements you can meet.
- Read the component details, accept any linked task, and note the named zone and objective.
- Travel to that zone and complete the objective as written in the task or achievement interface.
- Check for component credit before leaving; if credit is missing, review the listed objective and finish any remaining requirement.
- Return to the achievement entry, verify progress, and continue with another listed component if needed.
- The changed prerequisite applies to several named achievements; check the individual entry rather than assuming every Hero’s Journey achievement is affected.
- The October patch’s separate note about optional components concerns The Elemental Planes and The Plane of Time achievements, not these Hero’s Journey entries.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a progression check, not a repeatable item farm. Complete required components until the selected achievement is earned; repeat a component only if its own task rules allow or require it.
Common mistakes
- Waiting for Underfoot, House of Thule, or Veil of Alaris before checking: inspect the eligible achievement when its named era is available.
- Assuming components became optional: complete the requirements displayed for that Hero’s Journey achievement.
- Leaving before confirming credit: verify the achievement component registered in the interface.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the chosen achievement’s required components are credited and its completion is recorded; then move to another eligible progression entry.
