The October update confirms the Twittering Fungus Cap and Doomshriek Mushroom drops were fixed. Check the relevant quest objective before continuing to farm, since the patch does not give a drop rate or exact camp coordinates.
Its daily zone bonuses are randomized, so check the in-game announcement before choosing a camp. A bonus found on Frostreaver does not describe the Live server route.
The producer letter says several named quest items now award the group, which removes the need for each player to win a separate drop. Use the task journal to find the encounter for the specific item you need.
