The update does not publish spawn coordinates, quantities per kill, or a guaranteed rate, so the practical route is to follow the named objective in the journal, clear its associated sources, and let the objective counter determine when the farm is finished.
An active quest or collection objective that calls for Doomshriek Mushrooms.
Combat capacity and free inventory space for collected items.
Open the Quest window and confirm the exact Doomshriek Mushrooms requirement and remaining count.
Travel to Duskmold and read the objective details for the named source or spawn group.
Move to that source and clear nearby relevant NPCs, checking each corpse for the corrected item drop.
Loot the mushrooms and watch the journal counter for confirmed progress.
If progress remains incomplete, continue clearing the same objective area and recheck after each small group of kills.
Once the required amount is credited, stop farming and use the journal to locate the next task or turn-in.
