Where to farm
The Community Merchant on EverQuest Live; its listed rewards use Logs of Venture.
The October 21, 2026 Live update added rewards to the Community Merchant that cost Logs of Venture. The update does not identify the new items or describe a way to earn the currency, so use this route to inspect, choose, buy, and put a listed reward to work. Treat the merchant’s displayed stock, price, eligibility, and limits as the facts for your character. This is a reward-selection and spending loop, not a verified way to farm Logs of Venture.

A specific character upgrade or progression need to guide your choice.
Open the Community Merchant and browse the full current inventory, including newly added entries.
Select a promising reward and read its item description, displayed price, eligibility, and any purchase limit.
Compare that reward with your character’s current equipment, progression, and intended use; check whether it can be used by the character who will receive it.
Confirm that your available Logs of Venture cover the displayed price, then select the reward for purchase.
Review the purchase details in the game interface and confirm only if the item and cost match your plan.
Check your inventory for the purchased item and use, equip, or apply it according to its description.
Reopen the merchant and reassess the remaining stock before spending more logs.

The update confirms new rewards were added but does not name them; inspect the merchant’s current entries and descriptions before choosing.
Plan around the character that will use the reward, and check any displayed eligibility or purchase limit before confirming.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the browse, compare, purchase, and use cycle while you have Logs of Venture and a listed reward that advances your goal. The available facts do not establish a repeatable log source, so collect logs only through an in-game activity that explicitly displays them as a reward; this guide does not claim a particular activity or earning rate.
Common mistakes
Assuming the update notes name or explain the new rewards: check the current merchant inventory and each item description.
Treating a mission, task, or other activity as a log source without an in-game reward confirmation: verify the reward display before investing time in it.
Buying before checking recipient eligibility or limits: review those details and the price before confirming.
When to stop or switch
Stop spending when you have the reward that meets your goal, when no displayed item fits your character, or when your remaining logs cannot cover a suitable purchase; keep the balance for a later review.
