Uranium Fuel Cell Supply for Reactor Operation

A dedicated isotope supply to fuel cell production provides a concrete use for processed uranium and a repeatable nuclear fuel output.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A Nauvis uranium patch linked to sulfuric-acid-fed electric drills, centrifuges, and a uranium fuel cell production area.

This Nauvis target takes uranium ore through centrifuges to U-235 and U-238, then directs the isotope stock toward uranium fuel cell production. Uranium ore requires electric mining drills supplied with sulfuric acid; it cannot be gathered with burner drills or by hand. Centrifuges process ore into both isotopes, which are used to craft fuel for nuclear reactors. Keep the isotope output routes identifiable and verify that the fuel cell line receives what it needs. Stockpiling by itself is not fuel production.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Uranium processing researched and an operating uranium patch.
  • Electric mining drills supplied with sulfuric acid and electricity.
  • Centrifuges and separate routes or storage for U-235 and U-238.
  • A fuel cell production area with an output destination.
  1. Connect sulfuric acid and power to electric drills on the uranium patch.
  2. Route mined uranium ore from the drills to centrifuges.
  3. Run ore through the centrifuges and identify the U-235 and U-238 outputs separately.
  4. Buffer or route each isotope so its stock remains visible.
  5. Connect the needed isotope supplies to uranium fuel cell production.
  6. Check that fuel cells leave the production area and reach their intended reactor supply point.
  7. Inspect isotope stock and ore delivery when fuel cell output slows; restore the failed upstream stage.

Farming tips

  • Keep U-235 and U-238 in distinct routes so the fuel line receives the intended materials.
  • Check acid delivery at the drills before troubleshooting a low centrifuge input.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat while ore, sulfuric acid, power, and processing capacity are available. Isotope stock is consumed by production and must be replenished through continued processing.

Common mistakes

  • Attempting to mine uranium with a burner drill; use electric drills that accept sulfuric acid.
  • Combining isotope routes without tracking which material reaches production; keep outputs distinct.
  • Assuming buffered isotopes mean fuel cells are being made; check the production line and its output destination.

When to stop or switch

Continue while the reactor fuel supply needs replenishment; stop adding stock when the intended fuel cell reserve is adequate for the current operation.
