Before you go

Farming steps
- Open your component view and tag adhesive before leaving a settlement.
- Visit interiors you already have a reason to explore, checking shelves and containers as you move through them.
- Take duct tape and wonderglue when found, along with other junk whose component listing includes adhesive.
- Check your carry weight periodically and avoid keeping unrelated heavy loot that blocks further scavenging.
- Return to a connected workshop or use the available crafting interface to break down the junk.
- Confirm the adhesive is in your component stock before beginning a weapon or armor modification.
- Spend the recovered adhesive on the planned mod, then resume scavenging if supplies run low.
- Tagging a component helps turn incidental exploration into a targeted collection run.
- Compare the component listing before hauling bulky junk; an item that does not contain adhesive may not be worth the weight.
