Where to farm
Approach any of the three broken-down Power Plants in Appalachia; check the map’s Featured Activity list for the active objective.
Powering Up is an exception to the map’s time-rotated Activities: it begins at a broken power plant. The Activity system lists Caps, experience, Scrip, a chance at a Legendary item, and a regional schematic or mod among Activity rewards. Use the map to track the live Activity and its reward display, then decide whether repairing the plant fits your current goals.
Access to one of the three broken-down Power Plants.
Combat and repair supplies suitable for the on-screen objectives.
Check that the plant is available; a fresh server or eight hours after its last repair can make it available again.
Open the map and check Featured Activities for Powering Up or its plant objective.
If it is not listed, travel to a broken-down Power Plant and approach it to see whether the Activity can start.
Start Powering Up when prompted and follow the displayed repair and defense objectives.
Repair the plant components indicated by the objective markers.
Defend the repair work from enemies and return to any remaining marked tasks.
Complete the Activity and claim the reward bundle shown in-game.
Review the schematic, mod, Caps, Scrip, or other rewards against your current needs.
Farming tips
Powering Up is manually started at a plant; do not wait for it to appear as a time-rotated Activity.
Check the reward display after completion rather than assuming every reward category gives a particular item.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat at an available broken-down plant when a fresh server or the eight-hour post-repair availability condition permits; it is not an immediate repeat loop.
Common mistakes
Waiting only for the Featured Activity rotation; approach a broken plant to check its manual start.
Assuming a repaired plant can be restarted right away; check availability before traveling between plants.
Expecting a specific schematic or Legendary item; treat those as possible rewards and inspect the result.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the plant objective is complete, or switch to another listed Activity if the plant is unavailable or its rewards no longer help your current goal.
