WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Tinker’s workbench → Legendary mod crafting options.

A learned Legendary mod recipe is a crafting option, not a loose mod waiting to be attached. Once the recipe is available, use a Tinker’s workbench to review its ingredient list and make the mod when you have the required Legendary Modules and other materials. This route starts after learning; it does not require sacrificing another Legendary item for a chance at the same recipe. Check the workbench requirements before spending resources, then apply or retain the crafted output according to its displayed use.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • The desired Legendary mod recipe must already be learned.
  • Enough Legendary Modules and other listed crafting materials.
  • A Tinker’s workbench.
  1. Open a Tinker’s workbench and select the Legendary mod crafting section.
  2. Find the learned recipe you intend to use.
  3. Read the displayed ingredient and Legendary Module costs before confirming.
  4. Gather any missing materials and return to the workbench.
  5. Craft the mod and check that it appears in your inventory.
  6. Read the mod’s item description and use it only on an eligible item through the appropriate workbench option.
  7. Keep track of remaining Modules and materials before planning another craft.

Farming tips

  • A learned recipe and a loose Legendary mod have different uses: this workbench route crafts from the recipe and consumes Modules plus other items.
  • Treat the workbench’s displayed costs and eligibility as authoritative for the current item and recipe.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat while you have enough Modules and other required materials; each craft consumes the displayed inputs. Learning the recipe itself is not repeated by this crafting loop.

Common mistakes

  • Looking for recipe crafting at a Weapons or Armor workbench; use a Tinker’s workbench for learned-mod crafting.
  • Assuming a loose mod is the same as a learned recipe; check which item you own before choosing a workbench.
  • Confirming a craft without checking its costs; gather the displayed Modules and materials first.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have crafted the number of mods needed for your eligible gear or when the next craft would use resources reserved for a higher-priority upgrade.
