WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Map → Featured Activity list → Collision Course when it appears.
Collision Course is an Activity in Fallout 76’s Backwoods-era map system. Activities appear in Featured Activity and are selected through a changing rotation, so the airport location alone does not let you launch it whenever you want. Completing a listed run gives you an opportunity to earn the Activity reward bundle, which includes Caps, experience, Scrip, and a chance at a Legendary item under the current reward rules.
Enough ammunition, healing, and carry capacity to finish the listed objectives and collect rewards.
Open the map and read the Featured Activity list.
Wait until Collision Course appears; if it is absent, choose another listed Activity or continue playing while the rotation changes.
Select Collision Course from the list and join through its map entry.
Follow each on-screen objective at the event site, defeating attackers and protecting the cargo as prompted.
When completion registers, collect the reward and check your inventory for Caps, Scrip, and any Legendary item.
Use the reward screen and map panel to decide whether to continue with another available Activity.
Farming tips
Activities appear over time and the rotation depends partly on available Activities being completed; do not assume a fixed schedule for Collision Course.
The March 2026 system made Activities map-joinable, so checking Featured Activity before traveling saves a wasted trip.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat only when Collision Course returns to the Featured Activity rotation; the exact wait is not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Traveling to the airport and expecting to start the Activity manually; join from the Featured Activity list when it is listed.
Leaving before completion registers; follow the final objective and claim the reward.
Treating the rotation as a guaranteed timer; use the map’s current list as the authority.
When to stop or switch
Stop after claiming the reward, or switch to another listed Activity if Collision Course is not available.
