Join Dropped Connection from Featured Activities

Use the map rotation to join Dropped Connection and claim its reward bundle without a Main Quest gate.

Where to farm

Map → Featured Activity list → Dropped Connection when listed.

Dropped Connection is an Enclave-themed Activity that now appears in the shared Featured Activity system. The map listing provides the practical start point: if it is available, join there and complete the displayed objectives. Enclave members may receive additional rewards, but participation is no longer limited to players who progressed through the Main Quest. Rewards vary by the current activity rules and should be checked in the live completion display.

How to farm

Before you go

  • A live session and access to the map’s Featured Activity list.
  • A combat-ready weapon and healing for the displayed enemy encounters.
  • Carry capacity for the reward and loot you plan to collect.
  1. Open the map and inspect Featured Activity.
  2. Select Dropped Connection only if it appears in the current list.
  3. Join from the map entry and travel to the activity objective indicated by the game.
  4. Complete the on-screen tasks, following the objective markers rather than relying on a remembered location-based trigger.
  5. Defeat threats that block the objective and finish the final step until completion appears.
  6. Claim the reward bundle and review the inventory for useful items.
  7. If Dropped Connection is absent, choose another listed Activity and check the panel again later.

Farming tips

  • Enclave affiliation can add rewards, but it is not a prerequisite for joining through the rotation.
  • The time-based rotation is variable; do not plan around a fixed return time.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat when Dropped Connection returns to Featured Activity; there is no guaranteed interval for this particular Activity.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming Main Quest completion is required; use the map entry if the Activity is listed.
  • Traveling to a remembered site when it is not active; wait for the map listing.
  • Leaving before the objective completion notice; finish the final displayed task first.

When to stop or switch

Stop after the reward is claimed, or switch to another available Activity while waiting for its return.
